Pair of Circa 1915 French Capodimonte Figural Urns

Item Details

A pair of circa 1915 French Capodimonte lidded urns with hand painted cherubs in low relief at the circumference and masks at each handle. The urns are classic in form, the square bases being notched at the corners with gold edges and the lids having gold finials. One urn is hand written to the bottom ‘Made in France’ with the N under a five point crown and the other has a crossed swords mark.

Condition

There are no chips or cracks, the lids have been touched up long ago and the finials are replaced.
