Indian Brass Urn With Pierced Rim

Item Details

An Indian brass urn. This features an undulating rim with
quatrefoil pierced band around the neck, that flared to a wide shoulder and round body rising upon a stepped flaring pedestal base. It has been ornamented with a copper toned medallion and bright cut incised floral decoration. Textured open handles to either side are graced with lion head representations below. A lable ‘Made in India’ is adheared underneath, with no discernible maker’s mark.

- some surface wear including wear to finish and tarnishing.
