Silver Plate and Aluminum Serving and Décor Pieces Featuring Corbell & Co.
Item Details
A group of silver plate and aluminium décor tableware featuring Corbell & Co. There are five items in this lot. This includes a silver plate mirror plateau with relief trim and scroll feet and an Everlast bowl with floral relief to the interior; the underside reads, ‘340 Everlast Forged Aluminum.’ There is a Corbell & Co. bottle coaster with ribbed lines to the bowl with an embossed floral and gadroon edge; the side of the exterior is engraved, ‘C & Co’ with a maker’s mark and ‘EP’ for electro-plated. There is a handled relief tray with hammered edges and beaded trim with relief-etched handles; the underside is stamped, ‘Anchor Silver Plate Co. 1902 Special Metal’ with several maker’s marks. This also includes a mixing bowl with a monogram to the underside.
Condition
- tarnish throughout; scratches throughout; minor rust present.
