Dominick and Haff "Broad Antique" Sterling Silver Flatware Set With Presentation Case
Item Details
A sterling silver flatware set by Dominick and Haff of New York (1868-1928). This is in the Broad Antique pattern and features tapering kite handles, some of which are monogrammed. This set includes eight dinner knives, a pie server, and six butter knives with stainless steel blades and hollow handles. The blades are marked for Reed & Barton who absorbed Dominick and Haff in 1928. It also includes eight dinner forks, eight salad forks, seven dinner spoons, seven teaspoons, a sugar shell, and a serving ladle. There is also a cheese knife with a stainless steel blade marked ‘Sheffield England’ and a hollow handle in a variation of the Antique pattern by Reed & Barton. This set is presented in a silver cloth lined storage case. The total approximate weight, excluding the knives and the server with stainless steel blades, is 43.700 ozt.
