Item Details
An original pair of pastel drawings by artist Mildred Shoup. This pair of drawings depict beautiful birds, with a vibrant red cardinal balanced on a flowering branch in one, and a wood warbler resting on a pine branch in the other. Both pieces are signed to lower right, and are presented behind glass in matching white wood frames with gilt interior accent borders and hanging wires present to verso. The wood warbler drawing features additional information about the bird to the verso, and the cardinal piece has a handwritten inscription to the verso that reads ‘To Mary with love, Mother ’B’, Sept. 1982’.
