An offset lithograph on paper after an original late 19th-century advertising poster by Caran d’Ache. ‘Caran d’Ache’ is the pseudonym for political cartoonist and satirist Emmanuel Poiré (French, 1858-1909). The poster is for the Exposition Russe (Russian Exhibition) in 1910 at the Champ de Mars in Paris. Presented under a single layer of cream colored mat, the item is presented under glass in a decorative gold-tone frame.
