A vintage Art Nouveau style cast sterling silver brooch. Created in an Italianate manner with a central mythological putto having outstretched arms resting upon a scrolling, foliate design, this piece is stamped ‘sterling’ to reverse, with remnants of other hallmarks including an anchor.
