A hand-knotted Karabakh-style wool area rug. The rug features a brick red field with floral arabesque designs. It has a compound border with a dark blue primary border with floral designs, bound by two steel blue guard border bands and a bracketed palmette primary border in the field colors on a deep blue-black field. The rug has half inch kilim band with tied natural fringe on both ends. Unmarked.
