A hand-knotted wool Yazd area rug. This rug features an eight-pointed star medallion with scrolling borders in green on a deep blue backdrop. Foliate motifs appear at every corner of the center, while the border features floral designs inside of light blue cartouches on a red ground color. Off-white fringe appears on either end of the rug. A label is attached to the rug and is marked, ‘Genuine Hand Woven Oriental Rug’ along with other listed attributes.
