Vintage Provincial Louis XV Style Commode by John Widdicomb

Item Details

A vintage provincial Louis XV style commode by John Widdicomb. The walnut-finished case features a rectangular top with a serpentine front edge above three conforming, long drawers with gold tone, scrolled-foliate handles. One drawer interior retains a plaque marked ‘Made By / john widdicomb’ and the back has some manufacturer’s stamps. The commode rises on cabriole front legs centered by a scalloped apron.
