A drypoint titled America’s First – Philadelphia by listed artist Frederick Robbins (1893-1974). This landscape work depicts a row of buildings, one with a sign reading ‘Estad 1749 Sauerkraut’. At a fence along the row two women are talking.The piece is signed by the artist to the lower right. It is presented behind a beige mat behind glass in a wooden frame.

- to fair; minor scratches and abrasions on frame; toning and discoloration of mat and paper; mat is buckling; water damage on bottom edge; backing paper damaged.
