Hand-Knotted Persian Wool Area Rug

Item Details

A hand-knotted Persian wool area rug featuring a Nain regional design. There is an oval lozenge field in ivory adorned with a central medallion and pendants adorned with an arabesque design. To the corners, there are spandrels with the similar foliage overlapping pattern in blue. Enclosing the field, there is a series of lightly colored borders.

Condition

- stain to fringe; several small holes to the pile (not all the way through, just spots of shorter pile).
