After Marc Chagall Limited Edition Etching "Les Ames Mortes"

A limited edition etching on paper of Les Ames Mortes after Marc Chagall (1887 – 1985). This head piece was printed for Vignettes on Rives, published in Paris by Raymond Haasen, 1948. The work depicts nine illustrations in various genre scenes. The piece is number 288 in an edition of 335 and is not signed. It is presented under an ivory mat with a plaque at the bottom, in a wood frame with wire to the verso ready to hang. Information about the piece is affixed to the verso.
