Framed Antique Maps from Mithchell's School Atlas
Item Details
A set of antique framed maps showing The United States in the early 1800’s from Mithcell’s School Atlas published in 1855. These four maps are done in shades of blue, pink, yellow and green. Each map is presented behind blue mat in a gold tone plastic frame behind glass. The back of each frame has a saw tooth hanger.
Condition
- frames have minor scratches throughout,;“The Western States” has come out from under mat; mats are acid burned; paper shows some foxing; no dust covers; the “Southern States” is missing the left bumper; pieces are loose in frames.
