Collection of Framed Continental Maps
Item Details
A collection of continental maps drawn and engraved by cartographer J.H Young. This collection is composed of three maps which depict Africa, Asia and Oceanica respectively. These pieces were made to illustrate for the Mitchells School and Family Geography. Each piece is held a gold tone plastic frame with light gray matting with sawtooth brackets for hanging.
Condition
- some foxing and staining throughout; discoloration due to age; upper left corner of Africa map is bent; slight waviness to paper.

16.0" W x 13.0" H x 1.0" D
- measured one of three frames; visible images measure approximately: 11.5" W x 8.5" H each.
