An oil painting on canvas of Mt. Adams by listed Contemporary artist William Cole. Depicted is a view of the neighborhood of Mt. Adams from the Kentucky side of the Ohio River. This piece is rendered in predominantly green and yellow hues. The piece is signed to the lower right corner and housed without glass in a gilt tone frame.

William Cole graduated with a Bachelor’s of Fine Art in Painting from the Univerity of Cincinnati in 1976. His work typically showcases different neighborhoods and aspect associated with Cincinnati, Ohio. A popular subject matter of Cole is the local bridges, riverboats, and the Ohio river. Cole’s work has been exhibited at the Huntington Museum of Art, Cincinnati Art Galleries, and the Square Box Gallery as well as private collections.
