A double-sided oil painting on canvas landscape and street scene. The frontal piece depicts a mountainous landscape during the sunset with overlapping forested hills and majestic mountains within blue skies in the background. The posterior work depicts a 19th-century street scene with a lakeside road populated by an extensive crowd contiguous to lush trees and church in the background. Presented without glass, beneath a linen mat with a gilt fillet, housed in a wooden frame with a golden tone finish. The posterior painting is presented within the wooden stretchers of the canvas and the frame’s verso. Both pieces are unsigned.

- minor discoloration to frontal landscape piece; minor abrasion and dents to frame; visible red undertones to golden tone finish on frame; craquelure and discoloration throughout posterior piece; double-sided paintings due to restretching and repeated use of canvas.
