This assortment includes Schopenhauers Aphorismen zur Lebensweisheit (Leipzig: Insel-Verlag, 1920), the biography Goethe: Geschichte Eines Menschen by Emil Ludwig (Berlin: Paul Zsolnay, 1931), the first and fourth volumes of a six-volume set of the works of Wilhelm Hauffs, and one volume of a four-volume set of the works of Adelbert von Chamisso. All are dark green clothbound hardcovers with gilt cover decoration.
