A Bing & Grondahl ‘Danmark’ teapot. The teapot holds four cups. It is hand painted with irises, has a decorative raised design around the neck, lid and spout with hand-gilding throughout. A conch or snail house finial caps the lid with a bit of whimsy. It is handmade in Denmark and bears the maker’s mark to the base.
