Item Details
A group of seventeen pieces of 800 silver flatware by Gustav Haegermann. The collection includes six dinner knives with steel blades and hollow handles, six dinner forks, and five demitasse spoons. They feature acanthus leaf molding at the tip and beaded decoration. The knife blades are marked ‘JA Henckels Solingen Zwillingswerk’. The forks and spoons are marked for retailer ‘B. Wittiber’ with the reichsmark of a crescent moon and crown, ‘800’, and the maker’s mark of a standing figure in a cartouche.
