A collection of eighteen one-page Walt Disney cartoons published in Good Housekeeping in the 1930s. These promotional preview pages, subtitled ‘From the Walt Disney Silly Symphony,’ feature summaries of Silly Symphony cartoons in color illustrations and verse. This collection includes adaptations of Disney short films such as ‘The Grasshopper and the Ants,’ ‘The Tortoise and the Hare,’ ‘The Goddess of Spring,’ ‘Water Babies,’ ‘The Big Bad Wolf,’ ‘Three Little Wolves’ and more.

Condition

- black ink from verso showing through on “The Big Bad Wolf” and “More Kittens”; pencil markings in top right corners of “The Flying Mouse” and “Three Little Wolves”; crease in top right corner of “Three Little Wolves”; some minor page yellowing consistent with age; in protective sleeves in a binder.
