1930s "Good Housekeeping" Walt Disney Cartoons Featuring Mickey Mouse

A collection of one-page Walt Disney cartoons published in Good Housekeeping between 1935 and 1942. These promotional preview pages feature summaries of Mickey Mouse short films in color illustrations and verse. This collection of fourteen cartoons, with some multiples for a total of sixteen pages, features an adaptation of the critically acclaimed short film ‘The Band Concert,’ the first Mickey Mouse produced in color; other titles include ’Mickey’s Rival,’ ‘Alpine Mickey,’ ‘Brave Little Tailor’ and more.

Condition

- small tears in top edges of “Mickey’s Amateurs” and “On Ice”; staple holes in left margin of “Mickey’s Circus”; some minor page yellowing consistent with age, particularly to “On Ice.”
