20th Century Chinese Rosewood Sculpture of God of Longevity
Item Details
A 20th-century Chinese rosewood sculpture of Shoulao, the god of longevity. This depiction features the god laughing as he leans against his staff for support; in his hand he holds the Chinese symbol for longevity, a peach. Inscribed to the back of his long, draped rope is simply ‘China.’

- minor markings throughout; age appropriate wear.
