Item Details

A hand pulled print on paper titled St. George and the Dragon. The primitive work depicts St. George slaying a dragon. According to legend, St. George saved a village and a princess from the horrible plague of a dragon. Right before slaying the dragon St. George made the sign of the cross and charged towards the animal and killed it. The work is signed and titled by the artist’s hand in pencil. It is matted and framed behind glass in a gold tone frame.

Condition

Glass is dirty. Paper is yellowing.
