Antique Linen Press, Fruitwood Veenered, Chippendale in Style

Item Details

An antique linen press, 19th century, veneered in fruitwood, with a Chippendale-style top and base cabinet. The cabinet has a beveled crown, paneled double doors featuring arched top panels to the top and raised mitered panels below, and to the base, an arrangement of four veneer-banded dove tailed drawers with polished brass batwing pulls and escutcheons. The cabinet has beveled trim to the base, as well as French bracket feet.

• Please note, this is an item that may be especially difficult to move and/or transport. A professional mover is highly recommended since this is a very large antique piece with fragile veneers. Unless shipping arrangements are available and made by the winning bidder, that individual is responsible for, and advised to bring, appropriate assistance, vehicle, and any necessary tools to pickup. The cabinet is located on the second floor. Please bring a hand cart to facilitate moving, along with protective moving blankets.
