RCA Victor Portable Tube Radio
Item Details
A 1947 RCA Victor model 66BX AM Art Deco style portable radio with its original carrying handle attached. The cabinet is constructed of aluminum with a hinged fold-out back covering. The sides of the radio are made of a brown plastic material. This sixty-year-old vintage radio has two gold-colored metal drums with a plastic dial face. Made in Camden, New Jersey, the radio has a serial #B063094 stamped inside. The original electrical cord is attached, with an added attached green canvas strap that was probably used to assist with transporting this radio.
Condition
- untested. Some age pitting with edge and surface wear. Some scratches and age oxidation.
