Mahogany Two Piece Bookcase on Chest
Item Details
A mahogany two piece bookcase on chest. The bookcase features a wide crown molding, two glass front doors with carved mullions with two adjustable shelves and older wall paper lining the inside. The chest features four drawers with matched mahogany veneer with banded inset details which have angled corners and round and deeply embossed brass ring style pulls. There are Corinthian style columns to the sides and hand carved claw feet. The drawers are made with dovetailed construction and each has it’s original brass lock but no key present. The two pieces do not match but work well together.

Condition
- paper covering inside cabinet and base shows wear and is lifting, minor nicks to finish. The bottom chest has scratches, a crack across the top and two round stains to the top. Most condition issues to the top are covered by the bookcase.

The top piece measures 47.5"w x 43.0"h x 15.5"d. The chest measures 47.0"w x 48.0"h x 21.0"d.
