Musial and Rose Signed Clock

Item Details

A hand made wood wall clock that features the images and signatures of Pete Rose and Stan Musial. The clock has raised lettering of ‘ROSE’, ‘MUSIAL’ next to the appropriate images and ‘Batting’ is in raised lettering above the clock with ‘Champs’ in raised lettering below the clock. Pete broke Stan’s hitting record when Pete was with the Philadelphia Phillies. Pete and Stan signed the clock with a black marker. The clock has a thick clear lacquered layer that covers everything but the hands of the clock and the signatures were sign on the surface. Stan’s signature was given a ‘visual pass’ by a third party authenticator. The numbers ‘3631’ (Stan’s record was 3630) are centered inside the gold shaded circle of the clock.

Condition

- there is a horizontal crack on the left side from the edge, it goes in-between the raised lettering of the “Rose” and Pete’s image, it ends just at the edge of the round gold shaded edge of the clock.
- the clock was not functioning at the time of cataloging
- Stan’s signature has faded, but is still legible
