Winston Company, The Leatherstocking Saga by James Fenimore Cooper (1954, Pantheon Books), The King’s General by Daphne du Maurier (1946, Doubleday & Company), Lorna Doone: A Romance of Exmoor by R.D. Blackmore (1928, Dodd, Mead and Company), and Kristin Laransdatter by Sigrid Undset (1929, Alfred A. Knopf). This edition of Undset’s book is marked the ‘Nobel Prize Edition’ as Undset had won the Nobel Prize for Literature the year before.
