A collection o f Richard C. Guy Civil War themed illustrations. This selection includes five works, featuring Stonewall Jackson Statue, Manassas, Virginia, Stonewall Jackson, Manassas National Battlefield, Jackson Shrine, Stonewall Jackson, and Robert E. Lee. The illustrations feature the artist’s name in ink, to the right or lower right. Richard Guy (1928-2014) was an illustrator and painter whose work focused on historical sites and landmarks both in and outside of Washington, DC. Guy was particularly interested in the Civil War and was known for his portraits of military figures.

Condition

- to fair; Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson still have tracing paper adhered to it; some stains around edges; tape residue; some have practice sketches to verso.
