An original watercolor on paper of the Annaburg Manor in Manassas, Virginia by Richard Guy. This piece depicts a mansion sitting in a winter landscape while figures walking in the foreground. The watercolor is signed by hand to the lower right corner. Mounted under a double layer of blue matting, the piece is presented under glass in a brown wood frame. Hanging wire and a framer’s decal are present to verso of the frame. Richard Guy (1928-2014) was an illustrator and painter whose work focused on historical sites and landmarks both in and outside of Washington, DC. Guy was particularly interested in the Civil War and was known for his portraits of military figures.

- bottom right plastic cushion on verso is peeling off with corner of backing paper.
