Signed Robert Reid Native American Ute Pottery Jar

Item Details

A handmade art pottery jar by Robert Reid, Native American Ute (Utempt Tribe, 1946-2006) . The jar has a wide, round bottom, with flattened shoulders, and a short, round neck. It is made of white earthenware clay featuring intricately hand-painted, skillfully executed geometric designs and patterns throughout, in colors of black, white, turquoise blue, and terra cotta. The pottery jar is signed ‘Robert Reid Ute, Towac, Colo. June/5/1987 #1184’.
