A large, heavy stone Chinese pillow. This Chinese piece depicts a young boy laying on his stomach, propping his head up on one arm, with his knees bent and feet up. It is carved from one piece of stone, set on a dark wooden base. Pillows in the shape of young boys are common motifs, expressing the desire for sons.
