An original watercolor painting attributed to English artist George Shepherd (1784-1862) titled Piscator and Friends Thatch’d House in Hoddesdon, (Tottenham Hill) circa 1816. This smaller sized painting highlights a cottage with thatched roof and shows a figure on horseback with a dog and two men strolling past the house. The work is unsigned and is presented under an off white mat, behind glass in a gilt frame with hanging wire to verso.
