Neiman Marcus Wooden Duck Sculpture

Item Details

A wooden duck sculpture from department store Neiman Marcus. This carved duck is rendered in a stylized manner, featuring almond eyes, a flat bill, stout, curved legs and feathers resembling scales. It is painted with brushed gold over crimson, and is carved throughout to indicate texture. Seen to the underside is a manufacturing sticker, attributing its origin to Thailand.

Condition

- wear to painted frame; discoloration to affixed sticker to underside; chipping to paint present underneath duck’s neck.
