Mats Jonasson and Other Glass and Crystal Polar Bears
Item Details
A group of eleven crystal and art glass polar bears. The featured piece was produced by Swedish crystal artist Mats Jonasson in full lead crystal and depicts a polar bear in an iceberg. The collection also includes other Scandinavian makers, a favrile glass example by Orient and Flume, and one made by an artist living on the Isle of Wright. There are etched marks and decals on some of the examples.
