Item Details
A hand knotted and hand woven Baluch saddle bag. The striped saddle bag features alternating sections of hand knotted and hand woven patterned stripes. It has natural warp fringe in orange, brown, rusty red, gray-black, cream, and tassels in the same palette. The natural wool woven back side features a serrated geometric center strip in orange, gray, brown and rusty red. The backing is topped with a tapestry pocket to each side. The pockets are decorated with braided loops at opening. The saddle bag has no markings.
Condition
Consistent with age and use. Damage to fringe. Stains to back.
