A copy oil painting on canvas after a work by Lucius Rossi (Italian, 1846–1913), titled Gallantry. This painting depicts a central composition of people in traditional, 18th century clothing hopping over a cobblestone wall surrounded by lush foliage. An illegible artist signature is seen to the lower left corner. The painting is presented in a bronze tone wooden frame featuring moulded Royal Lace patterning across the border.
