This painting depicts a sprawling scene of classical, Roman Composite columns, cobblestone bridges and triumphal arch, all of which front a villa seen to the background. An artist signature is found to the lower right corner of the composition in red. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring moulded foliate patterning.
