A woven Savonnerie-style area rug with carved textures. This area rug features brown, green, and rose colored lattice patterning in geometric foliate designs on a black backdrop. The border is comprised of scrolling designs on a light brown ground color flanked by barber pole guard borders. Off-white, wool fringe appears at either end of the rug. There are no maker’s marks or labels present.
