A plaster and metal sculpture of a girl sitting by Kay Henkel. This freestanding work depicts a girl resting with one leg crossed on a stool, staring happily at a bird perched on her hand. She is glazed in a textured blue pigment to resemble carved stone. The sculpture rests on a flat-topped stool featuring three long, pointed legs. An in cast signature and date are seen to the sculpture’s verso.
