An oil painting by G. Serrure after Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta’s Lady With a Mask. This painting depicts a woman posing in a circa 1920s fur trim coat over a white gown and pink velvet ribbon, holding a black face mask. To the darkened background is a faint palm tree and upholstered sofa. An artist signature is seen to the lower right corner of the composition. The painting is presented in a gold tone frame featuring moulded foliate accents to the border and hanging wire to the verso.
