"Peace" Hand Colored Engraving After Benjamin Marshall

A framed hand colored engraving titled Peace after Benjamin Marshall (British, 1768-1835). Depicted is a cockerel standing tall and regal. Under the fowl, the work is titled Peace. The hand colored detail show vividly against the dark background of the paper. The print was published in London by W.C. Lee in 1840. The print is framed behind glass with a chain on the back for hanging.

Condition

Waterspot in the right side and wear and fading due to age.
