A ceramic Chinese Satsuma style box. It has a serpentine curve to the rectangular body. On the domed lid is a hand painted design of women in a garden, and the sides have ornate, hand painted floral pattern, both designs with high relief gold tone painted accents. It is stamped ‘Made in China’ in both Chinese and English in red on the underside.
