Hand Painted Gold Tone Chinese Satsuma Style Basket Vase

Item Details

A ceramic Chinese Satsuma style basket style vase. On the cylindrical body are panels with hand painted scenes depicting women in a garden, with ornate, hand painted floral pattern on the other surfaces, both high relief gold tone painted accents. The rim flares out to either side of a twisted handle. It is stamped ‘Made in China’ in both Chinese and English in red to the underside.
