A World War II U.S. Navy sailor’s cap. This government commissioned dark blue wool cap with lining reads ‘U.S. Navy’ in gold embroidery. This cap has a wide leather interior band. There is a manufacturer’s sewn in cloth tag that reads ‘For Clothing Supply Office 100% Wool.’ This cloth tag has a line for the owner’s name that has not been filled in. The tag also has anchors presented for the United States Navy.

Condition

Pre-owned exhibiting some soiling and edge wear on the leather interior band.
