Early 20th Century Wilcox & Wagoner Sterling Silver Bowls
Item Details
A pair of sterling silver bowls by Wilcox & Wagoner of New York. They were established circa 1900, and were bought by the Watson Company in 1905, who continued to use the trademark and patterns. These features die-pressed foliate rims above a pierced band and stepped shallow bowl. Each is personalized ‘W’ in the center and marked underneath with the makers mark of a sword in a wreath, ‘sterling’, shape number ‘9835’ and ‘5 1/2’. The total approximate weight is 4.01 ozt.
Condition
- some minor surface wear including faint scratches and minimal tarnishing; both bowls feature personalized engravings.
