A collection of six 1930s Disney children’s books, along with limited-edition reproductions of each. This collection includes the black-and-white illustrated children’s books Walt Disney’s Story of Mickey Mouse, Walt Disney’s Story of Minnie Mouse, Walt Disney’s Story of Donald Duck, Walt Disney’s Story of Dippy the Goof (i.e., Goofy), Walt Disney’s Story of Pluto the Pup and Walt Disney’s Story of Clarabelle Cow, all published c. 1938 by the Whitman Publishing Company of Racine, Wisconsin. Included with these is a limited-edition reproduction of each book, published c. 1996 by Applewood Books: each book comes in a slipcase cover with an audio CD recording of the story featuring the character voices.
Condition
- 1930s books show some page yellowing, edge wear and general wear consistent with age; 1930s Pluto the Pup has pencil marking on front cover; newer book sets in good condition, with audio CD boxes still sealed in plastic.
