A framed ‘Falstaff, Musica di G. Verdi’ reproduction art poster. The original art was produced by German Art Nouveau master Adolfo Hohenstein (1854 – 1928). This was an advertisement for the flamboyant drama of the 19th century Italian opera. Hohenstein was known as the “Father of the Italian Poster” with his dramatic style, resulting from his being so immersed in the Italian spirit, and transformed the Italian poster into art.
