A watercolor on paper Bridge at Switzer by Bob Rowe. The watercolor is a depiction of the Howe Truss covered bridge spanning North Elkhorn Creek in Frankfort, Kentucky. The original bridge was built in 1855. A flood in 1997 swept it off the foundations but the bridge was restored. It is no longer in use but is accessible on Jones Lane. Bob Rowe signed the painting and dated it ‘57. The title and the artist’s name and the date have been written on the mat. The painting is is framed in a light tone wooden frame with a picture wire..
